What is a Group Break?
A group break is where collectors share packs, a box or case of cards by dividing up the product by team, player, or another method. This allows participants to enjoy premium products in a live stream at a fraction of the cost.
How Do I Join a Break?
Visit the OhSnap! Breaks page purchase a team, player, or slot in a pick your team or random team break to secure your spot.
When Does My Break Happen?
Check the Break Calendar for scheduled times. Breaks start at 19:30 pm German time and continue into the evening. We break typically on Wednesdays live on Twitch. Breaks outside of these times will be communicated in advance.
When Do I Get My Cards?
After a break is completed, all cards are carefully sleeved, toploaded, and sorted. Orders ship out within the next two business days after the break. Or will be hold in our vault until you request shipping for your order.
What Cards Do You Ship?
We always ship ALL cards from the breaks.
Where Can I Watch the Break and See My Teams?
We stream using Twitch. Create a free account at twitch.tv to join the live chat and interact during breaks. Our Twitch handle is ohsnapbreaks.
I Missed the Break - Can I See What Was Pulled?
Yes! Past breaks are recorded and available to watch instantly on our Twitch channel. Watch at your convenience, and your cards will arrive in the mail regardless.
What Types of Breaks Do You Offer?
We offer a variety of break formats to suit all collectors:
- Team Breaks: Buy a single team from an entire box or case. Teams are priced based on market demand. Ideal for fans of specific teams or players.
- Random Breaks: All teams are priced equally and randomly assigned before the product is opened. Perfect if you enjoy variety and surprises.
- Team Draft Breaks: Teams are priced equally, and draft order is randomized before the break. Participants select teams in a style similar to fantasy sports drafts.
- Hit Draft Breaks: Buy-in slots are equally priced. After the break, participants draft hits in a randomized order.
- Mixers: A mix of boxes from different years or brands of a single sport. Great for adding variety to your collection.
What Am I Getting When I Purchase a Group Break Slot?
Purchasing a slot at OhSnap! Breaks does not entitle you to an entire box or case. It’s a shared group-break service where you receive cards from the team, random team, or player you purchased. All cards associated with your team or player will be sent to you.
What Happens if My Team Doesn’t Have Any Hits?
If your team does not receive any cards, we will send you either random cards or a sealed pack at our discretion. Everyone gets something in our breaks and no one goes away empty-handed.

How Do I Know It’s Legit?
All breaks are streamed live at Twitch. No pre-recorded content is used. Boxes and cases are opened live, and all activity remains on-screen to ensure transparency. Join the live chat to interact in real time.
How Do I Know Your Random Process Is Fair?
We use Random.org or wheelofnames.com for all randomizations. Every randomization includes a timestamp and validation link to ensure fairness and transparency.
You Just Pulled a Multiple Autograph or Relic Card with a Bunch of Players on It. Who Gets the Card?
Random/Drafted Team Breaks:
Unless someone owns more than 50% of the teams on the card:
- The team on the top, left, or top-left of the card will automatically receive it.
- If there are duplicates of the same card, we will attempt to alternate them to ensure all teams represented on the card have an opportunity to receive a copy.
Reasoning:
In random or drafted breaks, everyone has an equal chance to get any team when the break starts. Therefore, there’s no need to randomize a card again after the initial team assignment.
Team/Player Purchase Style Breaks:
Multi-team or multi-player cards in “Team Purchase,” or “Player Purchase” breaks are assigned using the following process:
- Each team or player on the card will receive entries into the randomizer based on the amount spent on that team/player.
Example:
- A card features the Giants, Dodgers, and A’s, with the following bid amounts: Giants: 50€; Dodgers: 100€; A’s: 30€
- The randomizer will be weighted as follows: Giants: 50 entries; Dodgers: 100 entries; A’s: 30 entries
- After 8 randomizations, the team at the top of the list will receive the card.
How do you assign players with no professional team shown on the card?
Sometimes college or non-licensed cards do not list the city, or team name of a professional team on the card. In that case, we go with the team they are currently playing on when the product is released, or if retired, the team the player played the most years with! Not the team they last played for! If we break a product months or years after the original release date we still assign the player to the team he was on at the time of release of that product.
How do you ship your cards?
We take pride in the speed and quality of our packaging and shipping! Anything of value including numbered cards, relics, autographs or just stuff that looks nice will be well protected with a penny sleeve, top loader / magnatic holder and sealed in a team bag to protect the card from slipping out during delivery. Small orders will use bubble mailers and larger orders may arrive boxed. All packages will have delivery confirmation and insurace up to 500€.
